Babies are content with life’s mere basics—
Nourishment, slumber, and snuggles.
They are welcomed as they are:
Chubby cheeks, fat thighs, bald heads or wisps of hair—
Even their little toots are precious.
Babies greet the world with a smile,
Unbothered by appearance, skin color, or class.
And love unconditionally.
They are unbound by human flaws—
Greed, deceit, ego, pride, vanity, and hate.
They are not yet tainted by the world.
Babies are humans in their purest form—
Innocent and free.
